“Alexandria Streets Project” is an artistic radio and audio project by Berit Schuck and Julia Tieke developed between September and December 2012. It comprises a sonic map of Alexandria published on air and on the internet, a programme with hands-on workshops and public listening events.

“Alexandria Streets Project” was created with residents of Alexandria, based on the idea to build a platform for informal knowledge.

“Alexandria Streets Project” can be explored online. It was presented in Berlin in November 2012 and in Alexandria and Cairo in December 2012. In 2013/2014 it will travel to other cities.
